DiAnn Baxley is a graduate of the Master Healer and Shapeshifter Apprentice program conducted by Llyn Roberts and John Perkins. As Dream Change’s Co-Administrative Coordinator and Co-Director for the WOW! Community Program, she is committed to leading programs around the world. Through her work at Dream Change, DiAnn dedicates herself to preserving indigenous culture and lands acknowledging that applying the wisdom of ancient cultures is integral to ensuring a more balanced and enlightened world.

In her everyday life DiAnn is the Chief Executive Officer of SVWIT Transitions, a non-profit agency whose mission is to create safer families and safer communities by providing services to victims and survivors of violence and their families, as well as ending patterns of violence through award winning prevention education programs.

For over 30 years DiAnn’s foci has been to bring a holistic/person-centered approach to aging issues and dementia research, sexuality education, self-determined housing and services, future care planning, and policy and legislative changes needed on both the state and federal level to bring about personal and socioeconomic independence for persons with disabilities. She has conducted hundreds of trainings and workshops both nationally and internationally.

DiAnn has worked with indigenous populations in Australia, Mexico and the US providing technical advice for caregivers and self-determination strategies for individuals with disabilities. The programs were designed to address each individual’s tribal culture and ancient traditions. DiAnn's publications include: technical articles for newsletters; informational brochures; guidelines and policy for state government. She was senior-author of Aiding Older Caregivers of Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (US Administration on Aging) and Sexuality Education for Children and Adolescents with Developmental Disabilities, (SUNY, Albany), as well as, the chapter “Housing and Living Supports: An Asset Management Challenge”, Janicki and Ansello, Editors, Community Supports for Aging Adults with Lifelong Disabilities, Paul H. Brookes Publishing. DiAnn is currently completing her latest book, Shapeshifting Caregiving: Caring for the Soul As Well As the Body.
