Llyn holds a Masters degree in Tibetan Buddhist and Western Psychology from Naropa University and studied World Issues at the School for International Training. Llyn was a psychology intern with Hispanic populations in the U.S. and with children in India where she also studied Buddhism, naturopathy, and yoga with B.K.S. Iyengar. She worked as a psychotherapist for the acclaimed Maitri Psychological Services in Boulder, CO.
Llyn is practiced in numerous holistic therapies and has taught at Adult Education Centers and for Insurance Companies. She has trained extensively with Quechua Andean healers and is initiated into Birdpeople Yachak circles in South America and Siberia. She has been featured at Bioneers, on the Wisdom Channel, in Spirit of the Shuar, Shaman's Drum, in the Shamanic CD - A Hundred Ways to Sunday and published several magazine articles. Llyn's book, The Good Remembering, is highlighted applauded by NY Times best selling author, Melody Beattie. Llyn served as adjunct faculty for Union Graduate School and collaborated with the Omega Institute to produce indigenous gatherings.

Llyn directs the non-profit, Dream Change (DC), with which has worked since 1997. Through DC, she has co-facilitated trips to the Amazon/Andes and US workshops with John Perkins; expanded DC's trip programs to include diverse cultures: Quechua healers intensives, work with the Maya in Guatemala and the Tuva, Siberia trips. Llyn teaches at highly regarded educational institutions in the US such as at Omega, Esalen, Rowe Center, Bioneers and with The Prophet's Conferences.
